Data controller
Axon Research Foundation (Axonstiftelsen), org. no. 937 775 059, is the data controller for personal data collected on this website. Questions about privacy can be directed to ida@axonrf.org.
The contact form
When you submit the contact form, we process your name, email address, chosen category and the text of your message. The information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
The submission is sent as an email to the foundation's inbox via the email service Resend and is not stored in any database of ours. The email is kept only as long as needed to follow up on the enquiry, and is then deleted.
The legal basis is the consent you give when submitting the form. Please do not share health information or other sensitive information in the message field; if we need such information, we will contact you directly through a more secure channel.
Visitor statistics and cookies
We use Vercel Analytics for aggregated visitor statistics. The service does not use cookies and does not store information that can identify you.
If you consent in the cookie banner, we additionally use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used. Google Analytics sets cookies that distinguish visitors from each other. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no such cookies are set.
Data processors and third parties
These providers process data on our behalf:
- Vercel (USA): hosting of the website and cookie-free visitor statistics
- Resend (USA): sending emails from the contact form
- Google (USA): Google Analytics, only if you have consented
Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data and do not use it for marketing.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase the data we hold about you. You may also object to the processing or request that it be restricted. Contact ida@axonrf.org to exercise your rights.
If you believe the processing violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
